Sugar Tips is an indica dominant hybrid (80% Indica / 20% Sativa). It’s a cross between the strains GSC, Double OG Sour D, and Star Fighter, which have ultimately given it the indica-leaning genetics. Becacuse of its high 28% THC level, this strain have noted that effects are potent as they tend to cause deep sedation and pleasant lethargy. Others have said they’ve used Sugar Tips to help with insomnia.
Sugar Tips is as enticing as the name suggests. These buds has frosty-white nuggets that look like little snow-covered Christmas trees. It’s a bit hard to see the color of the flower as there’s a plethora of trichomes that cluster all over the flower. Sugar Tips doesn’t just get its name from its appearance. It also has a taste that’s quite sweet and has also been described as being seemingly sugary.

While this is an 80/20 indica leaning strain, I think it’s really an 80/20 sativa in disguise because there’s no couch lock at all from my experience. I agree with the other comments that it’s a smooth girl in the Mighty vaporizer and has a nice taste. I like this strain for an upbeat buzz that doesn’t lay you out in the process.

Very dry and would not recommend for a daily smoker. Bad taste and dosen’t burn great. Not sure how some of the quads become quads. This one did nothing for me.

I ordered in a mix and match ounce and my 7g of sugar tips came in one awesome massive bud. Tight bud that broke up very easily and small so maybe a little on the dry side. Very nice smell and taste, and nice high to go along that. Did not disappoint!

Nicely done! This is a very flattering example of the strain. I did find this order was a bit dry which was disappointing. The buzz was acceptable but was not as relaxing as other strains I have tried.
