Acapulco Gold originated in Acapulco, Mexico, but no one seems to remember who first grew it or what parent strains were used. Acapulco Gold is pretty hard to find because it’s difficult to grow indoors, but it’s popular throughout the United States, especially in warmer climes. It’s best used to treat anxiety, depression, and chronic pain, but it’s also good for insomnia and headaches, as well as some mental disorders. This strain can be especially powerful, with THC levels as high as 24%. It has a distinct earthy flavor and aroma, with a taste of chestnut and tealeaves. As with most strains, the most likely adverse effects are dry eyes and dry mouth. Paranoia and dizziness are also possible but less common.

I thought this was a really good smoke; the high had me hella motivated and kept me energized throughout. Obviously wont be as good as a higher rated flower but honestly really enjoyed this strain. Smaller buds but that doesnt matter to me, it all gets grinded anyways 🙂

Great high, you definitely don’t need all that much if you’re not smoking a pound a month, exceptionally cheap for what it is. Nuggets are quite small but I’m not one to care a lot about that. Make sure you pick the branches out!

I bought this as “budget buds” and was happy with them. Small to medium buds, they looked great! The smell was definately muted and the cannabis was dry as a popcorn fart. I wish they could keep it better hydrated. The high was still decent, especially considering how dry it was. Little harsh for the smoke but would try again .

Excellent value – decent potency, sweet taste and smell. Buds have the perfect level of moisture giving it a nice, even, and smooth burn.
I wouldn’t rate it 5 stars if compared to higher quality bud, but this is one of the best budget buds available, in my opinion.
