Why Does Highly Concentrated CBD Oil Crystallizes?

What you’re seeing is actually perfectly natural, safe, and normal. You see, at such high potency, CBD will start to granulate out of the concentrate. It’s just science and the process is due to the chemical and innate properties of CBD. In fact, the higher the concentration of the CBD in the vape cart, the harder it’s to prevent the oil in the concentrate from forming crystals or hardening.

We’ve spoken to a lot of CBD extractors and specialists, and they all agree on this. The more crystals in the capsule, syringe or vape, the better actually, when it comes to CBD as it’s indicative of high quality.

Activated CBD tends to spontaneously crystallize at any concentration at or above 55%. Crystallization is the solidification of atoms or molecules into a highly structured form called a crystal. Usually, this refers to the slow precipitation of crystals from a solution of a substance.

First of all rest assured that this is completely normal. If you are experiencing CBD crystallization in your products or products you have purchased this generally means you are dealing with a highly concentrated solution. #1: Keep It Warm

Another option is to apply a controlled amount of heat to the vape oil. The most common way to do this is to hold a blow-dryer about a foot away from the vape oil, so that it warms up quickly without ever getting hot.

#3: Keep It in Warm Water
Alternatively, you can place the vape oil in an airtight, resealable plastic bag and submerge the bag in warm water. Make sure the water is not boiling hot, but warm to the touch. Leave it there until the appearance of crystals has disappeared.
